The Adair County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was established in 1980.  The Auxiliary is a group of volunteers that meets five times a year in January, June, August and October.  Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.  We have a meal, business meeting and a health related program in the Hospital Dining Room. 

Some of the Auxiliary's accomplishments are:

• Patient surgical Cart

• Donation towards x-ray

• Hospital remodeling

• Yearly scholarships for those entering a health related field

• IV solution warmer

Some of the Auxiliary's projects are:

• Tour of Trees (Bake sales, Silent auctions, etc.)

• Scholarships

• Provision of comfort kits for patients

• Refreshments for Cataract Clinic

• Easter Bake Sale

Active membership dues are $2.00.  Associate dues are $5.00 and you can also become a lifetime member by paying a one time fee of $100.00.   If you have any questions or are interested in joining you can call Shannon Hoadley at 641-743-7262.
