The Adair County Health Foundation was established in 1998.  It's mission is to encourage and accept public gifts in support of the Adair County Hospital and Adair County Home Care.  It is the vision of the Adair County Health Foundation that each and every resident of Adair County will continue to have convenient, quality health care available to them today and into the future.  

Throughout the past 10 years, the Foundation has made many things happen at ACHS.  One of our biggest accomplishments was the Building Renovation and Addition.  The Foundation raised over 900 thousand dollars to help support this 9.8 million dollar project.  Some of the other items that the community has helped to purchase include the following:

Ø    Whirlpool Bath

Ø    Full Body lift

Ø    Patient Call System

Ø    Helicopter pad

Currently our major projects include raising funds for a new ambulance and a digital mammography system for the health system.  Any unrestricted funds will be designated towards the item of greatest need.  If you would like to be a part of our success, please contact the Adair County Health Foundation Office.  Please note on any donation the area or equipment you would like your funds to support.  Thank you for your past and continued support of Adair County Health System.
