Michele Bjorn, ARNP
“I am pleased to help my
patients here at Adair County Health System.”
My husband, Bruce, is an 8th
grade math teacher in the Creston district. I have 3 children,
Lauren 20, Haley 11, and Valerie 7. Important family pets are 2
dogs, 5 cats, 5 horses, and 2 rabbits. I enjoy horseback riding and
wood refinishing.
Originally from
Clinton, Iowa, I achieved my Master of Science degree from Drake
University.
My primary focus and interests are
primary care, prevention and health promotion.
I want patients to know that we are
here to improve their health. I feel that many health problems
could be minimized if not prevented by health screenings for
diseases such as heart disease and cancer. It is our job to offer
these appropriate tests to our patients and educate them on the ways
to reduce risk to their health based on these tests and their
personal and family history.
